TIMPANOGOS (TIMPOONEKE) 2:07 up/1:25 down.

Jumped on it after work this evening. Moderate pace, keep effort low and in-control. Lots of goats, listened to coyotes singing on the run down. Walked a spell coming down after twisting my ankle for the...well a bunch anyway. Beautiful evening, just beat the lightning show.

I've run this thing over 20x and still can't get over the views. I'm sure my time would improve if I left my phone (camera) in the truck. Sorry for the overkill.

Great pics. Good stuff there.

Hey Scott, great evening up there. The coyotes were a highlight. At first I thought it was my camelback bottle squealing until I stopped for a listen. I've been eyeing the Wasatch Alpine Ridge (Devils Castle or Sugar Loaf to Lone Peak) ever done that?

From Scott Wesemann on Tue, Jul 16, 2013 at 14:05:47 from 66.232.64.4

I have done the whole thing, but never in one push. I have done it in two sections. It can be done and I want to do it at some point. Craig also wants to do it as well.

Let's talk. Could be really cool.

Great photos! I swear the only way to do it without photo overkill is in the dark :). Nice work!

Flowers are really starting to go off.

The photo "overkill" is great on this route. Keep 'em coming. Your blog has provided so much mountain stoke this summer!

Please don't leave your camera in the trunk. I am enjoying the tour.

I should say something about how well you are running, but just keep the pictures coming, thanks.

From Scott Wesemann on Wed, Jul 17, 2013 at 14:24:06 from 66.232.64.4

I agree with Jake. You're killing it this summer. I'll talk to Craig about the 'Super Beatout' and see when he wants to do it.

From Neasts on Wed, Jul 17, 2013 at 15:27:31 from 71.32.225.219

I agree with others on here. Why keep it all in your head when you can share? I may want in on this "Super Beatout" if any girls' club members are allowed.

From Scott Wesemann on Wed, Jul 17, 2013 at 15:42:38 from 66.232.64.4

Girls club is invited.

I like the look of Craig and Matt's semi "Super Beatout." Continuing to Lone Peak and out (TBD?) would be pretty cool...and a full plate of running/hiking/scrambling.

I've discovered a new problem with the camera/sight-seeing, leisurely run-thing...Strava! I gotta grab some CR's or up my rankings.

Thanks Jake. I knew there had to be a name or group that had done it. been searching summitpost and other sites with no luck.

Just when you think you're a bad a$$ someone goes ahead and does it in the middle of winter...that's hard-core.

From Jake K on Wed, Jul 17, 2013 at 16:45:54 from 67.177.11.154

It might actually be easier/quicker on skis, if you're fast with transitions. Those guys have the lightest carbon gear as well. All the rock hopping in summer takes a toll on the legs.

From Jake K on Wed, Jul 17, 2013 at 16:49:59 from 67.177.11.154

And then once you get the alpine ridge side down, you can add the BCC ridge. Guys have tried this on skis as well...

Of course Jared Campbell has already done it--i'm sure both. I don't think I could even come up with something he hasn't already done and has the FKT. Thanks for sharing.
